The Brown Paper Bag and the Vegetable garden
Thank you for your enquiry regarding ‘The Brown Paper Bag and the Vegetable Garden’. There are two bags available - The standard bag available for $4.50 per bag or The class packs available, at $2.50 per bag, ( the same except the seeds and fertilizing tea are sent in bulk for class teachers to distribute.) The fertilizing tea is made up of normal organic teas and kelp granules, all are for human consumption and non toxic if consumed by children. Two seeds are sent per child for the larger seeds, and 4-5 seeds for smaller seeds.
Being heirloom seeds there are some great varieties not usually seen in shops, many origins date back hundreds of years. These seeds can easily be harvested for children to sow once again, teaching them the entire cycle of vegetables.
Because of the fun names and appearances of the vegetables children are far more likely to be encouraged to watch them grow and enjoy their harvest at the end.
Individual instructions are included for each vegetables needs. Some varieties can be planted in pots, vegetable gardens or for climbing varieties along fencing.
